Job summary

Our client in Windber, PA is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods for devices across development and manufacturing. You will lead the creation of test fixtures, calibration hardware, and advanced test equipment, as well as developing test software using .NET, NI LabVIEW/TestStand, and C#.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and experience building test systems that validate performance against

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, or related field.
• Experience developing test strategies and diagnostic systems to validate product functionality.
• Ability to design and build complex test fixtures and standardized test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop test fixtures/hardware and PCBs to support device test and calibration.
• Develop test software using .NET, LabVIEW/TestStand, and/or C#.
• Utilize custom test systems and industry-standard ATEs for device test and characterization.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Applications Engineers to determine test requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional and multi-site teams to support new product releases.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and promote accountability and collaboration.
