Job summary

Parsons is seeking a senior Test Automation Engineer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team supporting USCYBERCOM mission IT systems. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build automated testing frameworks, and help deploy scalable cyber capabilities across dev/test/prod environments.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in large-scale CI/CD, experience with GitLab/Jenkins, containerization, scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell), and strong technical documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of related experience with large-scale CI/CD infrastructure and common source control frameworks (e.g., Gitlab, MinIO, Bitbucket, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure for USCYBERCOM mission systems.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize automated testing frameworks and validation pipelines for reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical software.
• Support lifecycle management of cyber capabilities by building, deploying, and sustaining scalable infrastructure across development, test, and ops environments.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and containerization technologies for integration into mission environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, test plans, and workflows.
• Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into testable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA
• Experiencedeveloping andmaintainingautomated testing frameworks like Robot framework,Pytest, andGoogleTest
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash,Powershell)
• Experience utilizingPodman/Docker
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• DevelopmentTest experience or CyberSecurityEngineering
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity,SoftwareEngineering, or related discipline
• Knowledge of cross-compilation and experience building/using them on various architectures (PPC, MIPS, x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.)
• Experience with management products like Jira and Confluence
• Extensive experience parsing user stories or requirements to create testableobjectivesand measures of performance that will lead to fully tested software products
• GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certifiedor equivalent cybersecurity/DevOps certification
