Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Software Developer to join our cybersecurity team in Maryland. You will design, code, test, and prototype software for high-impact national security missions, with a focus on embedded operations and rapid capability integration.

You should have a strong background in C/C++, Python, Windows and Linux, and assembly, plus at least a Bachelor's degree and substantial experience. A Top Secret/SI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of experience or a Master's with 10+ years.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• Experience in assembly language for any platform/processor.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping.
• Design and code software components to meet specifications and schedules.
• Test and debug software units and components.
• Adhere to build and release schedules and strategies.
• Document and present findings and results.
• Develop software prototype demonstrations.
• Research software and device vulnerabilities independently.
• Collaborate with headquarters and local customers to integrate CNO tools.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping in support of our customer.
• Designing and coding software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules for clients/customers.
• Testing and debugging software components and units.
• Adhering to product build and release schedules and strategies.
• Documenting and presenting findings.
• Developing software prototype demonstrations.
• Doing independent research into software and device vulnerabilities.
• Collaborating with headquarters and local customers to develop and integrate cutting-edge CNO tools.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline and 12+ years of experience; or a master’s degree and 10+ years of experience
• Knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems and of programming languages such as Windows, Linux, C/C++ and Python.
• Assembly experience (any platform/processor)
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced mission environments
• Ability to identify and elevate operational risks early
• Active TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly (or ability to obtain prior to starting)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments
• Experience doing Software Development, Reverse Engineering, and Vulnerability Analysis
• Experience on at least two of the following platforms: Linux, Windows, Mobile
• Experience in Cyber Security, AI/ML, cloud computing, full-stack development
• CySA+, or GICSP, or GSEC, or SSCP (DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II certification)

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
