Hyve Solutions in Nevada is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a fast-moving hardware team building servers, storage and networking gear. You will train production staff on test processes, troubleshoot issues, and develop Python-based automation tools in Linux environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience, with strong problem-solving, schematic reading, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing test systems and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and diagnostics.
• Experience in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of server hardware and system integration.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Train production personnel on test processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoot test, product, and system issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain test scripts, diagnostics, and Python automation tools.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot complex server hardware; rack integration.
• Utilize Linux for software installation, test execution, log analysis, diagnostics.
• Assist in developing test plans, strategies, and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Ops and Quality teams.
