Job summary

Accenture Flex is seeking a seasoned Test Engineer to drive automated testing initiatives for client projects in the New Jersey area. The role emphasizes Selenium and Playwright automation, SQL data validation, and test-management tool usage within agile teams.

You will be onsite 3+ days per week with clients in Jersey City and enjoy Accenture's comprehensive benefits and learning resources. A related degree and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or greater.
• 7+ years of work experience in Software Test Engineering and/or Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL testing.

Responsibilities

• Proven expertise in automation testing with strong foundation beyond manual testing.
• Test Automation Expertise with tools such as Selenium, Playwright.
• Litmus: CI/CD Experience (lint/automation).
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases and test management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies; able to contribute both as individual and team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven expertise in automation testing (not limited to recent exposure) with a strong foundation and consistent experience beyond manual testing
• Test Automation Expertise: hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright
• Litmus: Cl/CD Experience
• Database Skills: Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira and Micro Focus Octane for test management
• Must be able to work as an individual contributor as well as team player

This role requires being onsite 3+ days per week with the client in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Basic Qualifications

• Associates Degree or greater

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication and leadership skillset
