Job summary

CACI seeks a Test Automation Engineer to join the Automation Team, focusing on OpenText Unified Functional Tester (UFT) and OpenText ALM integration. You will design, implement, and execute automation scripts to support monthly regression events and data generation.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with UFT, ALM, and SAP tooling, plus a track record delivering scalable automation across complex business processes. Collaboration with BP teams is essential to mirror end-user workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant business experience in automated testing.
• 7+ years in automated test development and execution.
• 2+ years’ experience using OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).

Responsibilities

• Work across technical and functional teams to ensure program test requirements are met while enhancing capabilities.
• Deliver enhanced automation capability based on newly released enhancements to Production, to be executed in subsequent test events
• Deliver new automation development scenarios as prioritized
• Conduct demos of the new automation scenarios with stakeholders, as necessary
• Execute automation Regression Test scope for monthly and special project releases, within the parameters of the release schedule
• Generate volume test data in support of test events, as requested
• Support OpenText ALM custom code / workflow changes as requested
• Identity and assess new automation capabilities
• Manage the UFT software version compatibility with OpenText ALM (SaaS) upgrades
• Communicate effectively with diverse customer organizations and provide status to stakeholders.
• Deliver proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of transition from UFT to Tricentis Tosca
• Deliver proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of CoPilot AI solution to enhance test automation capability
