Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Test Automation Consultant for a hybrid role located in Charlotte, NC / Pennington, NJ. This full-time position offers long-term potential with competitive compensation and benefits as part of a client engagement with Infosys.

The role focuses on building and refining automated testing frameworks, performing API and UI testing, and driving quality across the SDLC in an Agile environment. Hybrid work supported.

Qualifications

• Must have Selenium, Playwright and Java experience.
• Experience in Selenium test automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience with API automation and REST Assured.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing and data validation.
• Strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum delivery and QA testing knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; relocation/travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in capturing user needs and document requirements via interviews/workshops.
• Participate in design discussions and document software specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test code following design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to improve quality.
• Support integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions in the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live apps and document maintenance procedures.
• Document coding practices, testing methods, and solutions for the team.

Key Responsibilities:\

\

\
• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements.\
\
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.\
\
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.\
\
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance.\
\
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.\
\
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.\
\
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository.\

• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.\
\
• Experience applying AI tools to testing activities, automation development, and quality engineering practices.\
\
• Experience validating AI-generated outputs through human-in-the-loop review processes.\
\
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing to improve quality and reduce manual effort.\
\
• Understanding of cloud and container technologies.\
\
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit.\
\
• Experience performing AI-assisted test case generation.\
\
• Experience with AI-assisted automation script development.\
\
• Experience with test impact analysis and regression optimization.\
\
• Experience with AI-driven defect analysis and dependency analysis.\
\
• Experience with observability and telemetry analysis.\
\
• Experience with self-healing test automation.\
\
• Experience with AI Agent or LLM-based testing solutions.\
\
• Experience with data quality validation initiatives.\
\
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.\
\
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.\
\
