We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Test Engineer to join our team on the 3rd shift. The position will be responsible for testing Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices and RF Head components, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining testing procedures, product troubleshooting, and maintaining test stations.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of SAW devices and RF Head components.

  • Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on performance and compliance.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any issues identified during testing.

  • Maintain test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

  • Adhere to all safety and quality protocols.

  • This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various test equipment and machinery.

  • Must be able to work the 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree

  • 2+ years experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic components

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 1 year experience with automated test equipment.

  • Familiarity with industry standards related to RF and SAW devices.

  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
