Payment Tester Role & Responsibilities

1. Work as a Payment tester, validate the Pin pad application, and perform t-log validations.
2. Perform back-office payment validations for various Tender Types transactions.
3. Conduct regression testing of different payment tenders, validate sales, voids, refunds, and other transactions.
4. Coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and collaborate with external vendors for testing.
5. Use collaboration tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and Wiki for documentation and test case management.
6. Apply testing methodologies, capture testing metrics, and generate reports.
7. Liaise effectively with onshore and offshore teams to plan work.

Your Role

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Functional Tester, with retail POS testing experience and Payment knowledge (Must Have).
• Experience configuring and setting up Pin Pads.
• Ability to build test scenarios and acceptance tests for Payment Tenders.
• Certifications in Agile, Azure, and Scrum are a plus.
• Proactive learner, adaptable to emerging trends, and industry requirements.
• Strong team spirit to achieve organizational and personal goals.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience in Test Automation with Robot Framework (Nice to Have).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands for log verification.
• Experience in Database testing using SQL Server.
• Understanding of compliance and governance frameworks related to payments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
