Job description

Payment Tester Role & Responsibility

1. Work as a Payment tester to validate the Pin pad application and perform t-log validations.
2. Perform back-office payment validations for different Tender Types transactions.
3. Conduct regression testing for various payment tenders, validating sales, voids, refunds, and other transactions.
4. Coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and collaborate with external vendors for testing activities.
5. Utilize collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Wiki for documentation and test case management.
6. Apply testing methodologies for different initiatives, capturing testing metrics and reports.
7. Communicate effectively with onshore and offshore teams and plan work accordingly.

Your role

• 5+ years of experience in Agile functional testing, retail POS testing, with Payment knowledge (Must Have).
• Experience configuring and setting up Pin Pads.
• Ability to build test scenarios and acceptance tests for various Payment Tenders.
• Certifications in Agile, Azure, and Scrum are a plus.
• Proactive learner with a keen interest in emerging trends and industry requirements.
• Strong team spirit to facilitate organizational and personal goal achievement.

Your skills and experience

• Experience in Test Automation with Robot Framework (Nice to Have).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands for log verification.
• Experience in database testing using SQL Server.
• Understanding of compliance and governance frameworks related to payments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
