TES Cashier/Delivery Driver - Montgomery

Job Summary: The TES Cashier/Delivery Driver transports items to customers in a safe, timely manner, and serves as cashier at the SEIB Pharmacy in Montgomery, Alabama.

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus.

Essential Functions

• Works front counter by processing orders for customers via the cash register.
• Provides excellent customer service, and answers questions.
• Stocks front shelves daily.
• Loads, transports, and delivers items to customers or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that the orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assists with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepts payments for delivered items.
• Adheres to assigned routes and follows time schedules.
• Abides by all transportation laws and maintains a safe driving record.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Expectations

• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive, and lift/carry items.

Desired Qualifications

Salary Range: $10.00-$14.00/hour

Work Hours: 8:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday
