Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of outside medical sales experience handling a territory; 5+ years preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare in assigned area and knowledge of how to sell medical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • All sales within assigned sales territory(s).
  • Travel to trade shows - locally and nationally.
  • Manage the territory(s) assigned: leads, opportunities, target accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT IN RELATED MEDICAL FIELD SALES EXPERIENCE
  2. 3-4 YEARS OF OUTSIDE MEDICAL SALES EXPERIENCE HANDLING A TERRITORY – 5+ YEARS PREFERRED
  3. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER USE AND SYSTEMS NAVIGATION
  4. MOTIVATED AND SELF-SUFFICIENT WORKER
  5. EXPERIENCE WITH CRM AND/OR ERP COMPUTER SYSTEMS
  6. COMPUTER SOFTWARE PROFICIENT INCLUDING MICROSOFT OFFICE PREFERRED

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. ALL SALES WITHIN ASSIGNED SALES TERRITORY(S)
  2. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED IN THE FIELD DAILY
  3. TRAVEL TO TRADE SHOWS -LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY
  4. MANAGE THE TERRITORY(S) ASSIGNED: LEADS, OPPORTUNITIES, TARGET ACCOUNTS, DEALER RELATIONSHIPS, CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
  5. MEET OR EXCEED COMPANY SALES EXPECTATIONS ON A QUARTERLY AND ANNUAL BASIS
  6. ADHERENCE TO COMPANY POLICIES AS IT RELATES TO SALES
  7. WORK AND COORDINATE WITH AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS TO MAXIMIZE SALES WITHIN THE DEFINED TERRITORY, TO INCLUDE REGULAR COMMUNICATION WITH DISTRIBUTOR SALES REPRESENTATIVES, JOINT PRESENTATIONS AND STRATEGY MEETINGS
  8. RESPONSIBLE FOR UPDATING CRM WITH TERRITORY INFORMATION ON A DAILY BASIS; ACCOUNTS, CONTACTS, LEADS AND OPPORTUNITIES
  9. COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION AND IN-SERVICE OF ALL EQUIPMENT SOLD IN DEFINED TERRITORY(S)
  10. UPDATE DEALERS ON; PRODUCT LEAD TIME, PRODUCT UPDATES, NEW PRODUCTS, AND PROMOTIONS
  11. RESPONSIBLE TO KEEP UP WITH THE MAJOR HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS AND ACCOUNTS IN ASSIGNED TERRITORY(S) SUCH AS; IDNs, GPOs, DSOs, ACOs, IPAs, PURCHASING NETWORKS, ETC.
  12. COORDINATE WITH CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS ON STATUS OF TERRITORY(S) ASSIGNED
  13. STRATEGIZE WITH SALES MANAGEMENT ON PLANS TO HIT SALES GOALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
  14. COORDINATE WITH CORPORATE MARKETING TO INCREASE SALES AND HIT GOALS OF ASSIGNED TERRITORY(S)
  15. STAY KNOWLEDGABLE OF SALES PROCESS FOR BOTH CORPORATE AND DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF PRODUCT TO END-USER CUSTOMERS
  16. CONTINUOUSLY LEARNING OF CHANGES TO THE HEALTHCARE MARKETPLACE IN ASSIGNED TERRITORY(S), HOW HEALTH SYSTEMS, HOSPITALS AND PRIVATE PRACTICES PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
  17. BE THE PRODUCT EXPERT OF THE MTI LINE FOR ALL DEALERS AND CUSTOMERS
  18. PERIODIC PRESENTATIONS TO CORPORATE OFFICES ON ACTIVITY AND TRENDS IN THE TERRITORY
