Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company. Stratas Foods is built on the combined strengths and expertise of these two great parent companies, laid down over the course of over 200 years of combined experience. Stratas will continue to build on this foundation of excellence by providing value-added, branded, and custom formulated fats and oils solutions to the Food Service, Food Ingredient, and Retail sectors.
This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will currently reside in the Miami or Fort Lauderdale area.
This position is an entry-level full-time sales position for Stratas Foods, Foodservice. The primary role for this position is to provide dedicated direct sales development support calling on foodservice operators and bakeries.
The person works in harmony with our broker organization, where applicable, reporting to our Division Manager. Operator Fry oil testing and other product cuttings are their main priority. The scope is to be a National Brands and mayo, dressings, sauces specialist aiding our Broker Street sales teams where we have them and our key distributor SalesRep.
Qualifications
Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary, Food Marketing, or General business-related field.
Related Experience:
Equipment/Software Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Driver’s License
Physical:
Must be able to fly/drive to markets. No major exceptional physical requirements.
Speech, Hearing, Vision, Smell, and Touch: This position must be able to respond orally and in writing to common inquiries and complaints from customers and members of the business community.
Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to handle diversity of tasks and manage them effectively. Sending written correspondence to all interfacing aspects is critical to success.
