Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative in San Antonio, TX to identify and grow revenue within assigned territory by visiting customer sites and offices. You will develop a robust network, plan strategic sales approaches, and consistently rent or sell equipment to meet and exceed quotas.

The role requires engagement with customers, market awareness, and collaboration across teams. The position offers base plus commission, with benefits and a strong company culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial market or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via telephone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond while understanding market conditions and local competitors pricing.
• Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify customer base to include industrial, traditional and nontraditional accounts.

Job Purpose

The Territory Sales Representative is to identify, introduce, develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals within their designated territory. The Territory Sales Representative’s goal is to generate and maximize revenue for the branch and the company. What you will do...

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to various customer job sites/offices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred
• Proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred

Pay Range:$75k - $85k+ estimated 1st year earnings. Base + commission guarantee & uncapped commission
