Job summary

Patterson Dental Supply, Inc. is hiring a Territory Sales Representative in Spokane, WA to grow sales by developing and advancing dental office accounts within a defined territory.

You will partner with doctors and staff to analyze business needs, present equipment benefits, and coordinate product demonstrations while handling ROI and tax considerations. A strong sales track record and dental industry experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong initiative with excellent customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
• Past success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required; valid driver’s license required.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounts by contacting dental offices within defined territory.
• Cultivate a 'practice partner' mindset with doctors and staff; analyze business needs and discuss ROI and tax advantages of equipment/solutions.
• Present Patterson products, perform product demonstrations, and discuss emerging dental industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records for prospects, orders, and financial activity; support related duties.

Job Summary

As a Territory Sales Representative, you are responsible for driving profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts by regularly contacting dental offices within a defined territory.

Essential Functions

• Developing a "practice partner" mentality with Doctors and staff by analyzing business needs, discussing benefits and features of equipment and technology solutions, coordinating product demonstrations, explaining return on investment and tax advantages, and discussing emerging trends in the dental industry.
• Being well versed on Patterson products and services, competitive intelligence and industry information.
• Maintaining accurate records for prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity.
• Other duties related to the Territory Sales Representative position.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business to business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You must also possess a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Compensation: Employees first hired into this role have annual earnings between $50,000 and $200,000, which is paid on a draw basis based on a percentage of adjusted gross margin dollars, the percentage of which may vary based on business factors including but not limited to policy year, time in position, product sold, and other relevant business factors.
