Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level outside sales professional for a new territory. Your main responsibility will be developing a new book of business through in-person sales calls to businesses, focusing on acquiring and retaining clients. You will collaborate with a team of supplemental insurance producers who share your drive for success.

This role involves outside direct sales within your designated territory. We will provide comprehensive training to connect with small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors. You will meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to present supplemental insurance products and services, engaging with benefits managers and employees at an individual level.

Core Responsibilities
  • Use our customized Salesforce CRM to generate leads and expand your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text.
  • Schedule meetings to understand clients' insurance needs.
  • Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
  • Visit new businesses, build relationships with owners, follow up on referrals, and re-service existing clients.
  • Build and maintain your client portfolio.
  • Work with your sales manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Plan and follow your weekly schedule; submit it to your manager.
  • Record daily work stats and sales activities daily.
Additional Qualifications
  • Pass a high-level pre-employment background check.
  • Active Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or willing to obtain; study course provided, licensing fees reimbursed).
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of post-high school work experience. Candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant sales or athletic background will also be considered.
