Summary

Growing chemical additives company is seeking a highly qualified Territory Sales Manager for the Mid and South Texas region.

The ideal candidate must be technically savvy, experienced in solution-based sales, and capable of building lasting relationships.

This is a home-office based position.

The selected candidate will be offered a lucrative compensation package, including a strong base salary, bonus, and full benefits.

Company assets such as a work laptop, cell phone, and vehicle will be provided.

Candidates must currently reside in the assigned region. No relocation will be offered.

Position Skills

  • Experience in technical sales or related fields, such as chemicals, industrial or manufacturing equipment, or goods.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to develop and sell value-based solutions.
  • Capability to learn quickly and understand customer needs and business.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A self-motivated “hunter” mindset.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Professionalism in selling and a strong sense of urgency to achieve sales goals.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • Experience selling lubricants, fuel additives, or other specialty chemicals is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Mid & South Texas market geography, including the area south of Waco.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Basic PC skills, including spreadsheet analysis, word processing, and database management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High initiative and ability to travel within the region.
