Job summary

American Republic Insurance Services is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to develop a sales agency and meet distribution growth objectives across Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Final Expense, Annuities and other life/health products.

The role focuses on building relationships with agents and clients, utilizing CRM, and leading the sales process to drive growth in a nationwide market.

Qualifications

• Senior market product experience required, with Medicare products preferred.
• Licensed Health and Life Insurance agent in assigned states.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills; CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for developing a sales agency to meet distribution growth objectives selling Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Final Expense, Annuities, and other Life and Health Products.

Essential Functions of the Territory Sales Manager

• Recruits agents and other sales leaders.
• Educates and trains these individuals on the value of our products and services in addition to utilize our CRM, online prospecting systems, and approved prospecting, presentation and closing techniques.
• Ensures support with necessary certifications and product supply ordering as needed to facilitate sales.
• As needed attends management training and meetings, completes industry related education courses as required and maintains necessary licenses.
• Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth.
• Conducts product presentations to showcase features and benefits to potential customers.
• Analyzes market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for sales.

Requirements

• Senior market product experience is required. Expertise is preferred in all lines of Senior Market products including but not limited to: Medicare Supplement, Med Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, Annuity, Final Expense and Long-Term Care.
• Experience building a captive agency is preferred.
• Licensed as a Health and Life insurance agent to sell insurance in the state(s) within assigned territory.
• A strong focus on customer service and relationship building is essential.
• Proficiency in using Sales CRM software.
