Overview

AprilAire is an industry leader focused on providing Healthy Air in the home. Our corporate office, manufacturing facilities and engineering Innovation Center are located in Wisconsin and we have Sales teams around the country. We have been in business since the 1950’s with significant growth the last few years – and plans to continue growing as we deliver healthy air for all!

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to support and deliver indoor air quality products to our dealers and distributors within a specific territory. This is a B2B (Business to Business) position.

This position is in our Basement/Crawlspace channel that focuses on dehumidification products and growing dealer/distributor partnerships. These dealers would include waterproofing, pest control, and other related dealers. You get all the benefits of joining a stable, growing company including:

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with AprilAire dealers and distributors to position their businesses for success with support from AprilAire's marketing team
  • Providing tailored product and system solutions to HVAC dealerships and distributors
  • Cold calling and collaborating with customers on their needs
  • Working collaboratively with AprilAire distribution managers to secure distributor orders with dealers
  • Developing and leading your own Annual Operating Plan to support your sales goals and plan for your month-to-month activities
  • Tracking, updating, and reporting metrics on sales progress, activity, and customer accounts in our CRM (Goldmine)
  • Supporting clients and developing lasting relationships
  • Using data and your analytical skills to identify and prioritize accounts offering the greatest opportunities
  • Once a month, you may be asked to support your customer by going into a basement or crawlspace area and troubleshooting with them.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in selling a tangible product
  • Ability to develop long-lasting relationships with customers and provide great customer service
  • Motivation, flexibility and forward-thinking to thrive with minimal supervision
  • Ability to grow and manage your territory
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel within your territory up to 40% of your time (North and South Carolina)
