Job Title: Territory Sales Representative (1099 Contractor)

Location: Remote – Midwest Territory

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

A leading provider of recycling and industrial equipment is seeking a motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to cover the Midwest region, including Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven sales professional looking for the freedom and flexibility of a commission-based independent contractor role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used equipment listed on the company's digital platform
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers across the Midwest
  • Source and acquire used equipment listings from dealers and end users
  • Understand and communicate the value and applications of equipment offerings
  • Act as a regional brand ambassador, representing professionalism, product knowledge, and service
  • Identify opportunities to increase regional sales and expand equipment listings

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience (preferably in industrial, recycling, or heavy equipment sectors)
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, and lead-generation abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commission-driven motivation
  • Knowledge of equipment, manufacturing, or environmental industries is a plus
  • Must have a home office setup and be willing to travel within the assigned territory
