NCC Automated Systems, an ATS company, is an established, well-known company in the automation and integration industry. We are poised for expansion and have an opportunity for talented and results-driven entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager, Midwest Region. With a proven track record in the High-Tech Manufacturing and Automated Assembly arenas, the runway is long and the selling fields are ripe for harvest. As the Hunter, you will be responsible for driving targeted market growth, executing aggressive sales efforts, and leading the charge in closing quick and long-cycle sales opportunities. Looking to innovate, this role is wide open to all areas of contract manufacturing, hand assembling, and automotive industries providing channels of sales that have no limitations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales hunting mentality, win-focused attitude. Autonomous role with a strong vision, direction with a specifically designed established and adaptable product line and a Sales focused Leadership team to support the efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Tech Manufacturing Expertise:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the tech manufacturing industry, staying a breast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage technical understanding to effectively communicate product features and benefits to potential clients.
- Conveyance knowledge for manufacturing, pick and place,
Sales Hunting and Win Focus:
- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to identify and target potential clients in the national market.
- Maintain a relentless focus on winning key accounts and exceeding sales targets.
- Available to travel overnight 25% of time
National Market Expansion:
- Drive targeted market growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities nationwide.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the company's presence in the market.
Aggressive Sales Efforts:
- Execute high-impact, aggressive sales initiatives to generate leads, engage prospects, and secure new business.
- Develop and implement creative and effective sales tactics to outpace competitors.
Closing both Short and Long-Cycle Sales:
- Manage and navigate complex, short to long-cycle (2 to 24 months) sales processes from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Utilize strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to overcome obstacles and secure deals.
Account Penetration:
- Implement strategies to penetrate and expand business within existing accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Master Sales Knowledge:
- Utilize a deep understanding of the sales process to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, sharing best practices and enhancing overall sales effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude is highly desirable.
- Track record of successfully closing complex, short and long-cycle sales deals.
- Demonstrated ability to drive targeted market growth and exceed sales targets.
- Strong sales hunting mentality with a focus on winning key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
