Job summary

Lewis Bake Shop, a division of Lewis Bakeries, seeks a District Sales Manager for the St. Louis, MO area to lead a field sales team and drive growth with key accounts. You will guide retail execution, develop opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, market development, and sustaining Lewis Bakeries' high standards of execution and service across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred in business, marketing, sales or related field.
• Minimum of three years selling in CPG/food industry or direct store delivery.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.
• Strong inventory, forecasting, merchandising and retail execution knowledge.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key Lewis Bakeries customers and major retail groups.
• Conduct regular customer visits to identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee and monitor sales opportunities to improve merchandising and promotions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer initiatives.
• Lead ASM’s in duties, scheduling, route sales, and store coverage.
