Position Summary
The Territory Sales Associate is responsible for helping drive profitable growth through new customer acquisition, opportunity development, and territory expansion. Working closely with Territory Sales Managers, Product Managers, Distribution Partners, and Technical Teams, this individual will identify prospective customers, qualify opportunities, and build relationships that lead to new business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Territory Development & Prospecting
- Identify and target new customers, applications, and market opportunities within assigned territory, leading manufacturing reps and distribution partners.
- Develop prospecting plans using industry research, LinkedIn, Salesforce, distribution networks, and market intelligence.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound calls, emails, referrals, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with engineering, procurement, operations, and business decision‑makers.
Business Development
- Qualify customer needs and identify opportunities for Qnity materials and solutions.
- Support customer evaluations, sample requests, product trials, and qualification activities.
- Conduct sales presentations and introductory meetings with prospective customers.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to develop customer‑specific solutions.
- Drive opportunities through the sales process from prospecting to commercial engagement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships across assigned accounts.
- Conduct in‑person and virtual customer visits.
- Deliver a positive customer experience through responsiveness and follow‑up.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to identify evolving needs and future opportunities.
- Support customer retention and account expansion efforts.
Territory Planning & Sales Execution
- Support development and execution of territory growth strategies.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, and account records in Salesforce.
- Monitor territory performance and sales activity against established goals.
- Provide market intelligence regarding competitive activity, market trends, and customer developments.
- Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.
Learning & Professional Development
- Develop a strong understanding of Qnity products, technologies, and target markets.
- Learn customer applications and manufacturing processes within advanced electronics markets.
- Participate in technical and sales training programs.
- Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset and commitment to professional growth.
- Build the skills necessary for advancement into Territory Manager and Technical Sales roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, customer‑facing roles, internships, or related experience.
- Strong desire to build a career in technical business development and field sales.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air and automobile as required.

The Pay range for this role is $92,330.00 - $145,090.00 Annual. This role is eligible to a variable pay program (Sales Incentive Compensation Plan).

Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate.
