Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III in Denver, CO, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 6:30 PM, with rotational Saturdays. Travel within the territory is required to deliver professional phlebotomy services at Patient Service Centers and client locations.

Expect accurate specimen collection, patient identification, and adherence to testing protocols to ensure high-quality results. Qualified candidates have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a phlebotomy certification where

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• English required.
• Travel up to 75%.
• Strong knowledge of phlebotomy best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures, including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures for specimen labeling accuracy; enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing; label, centrifuge, split, and store as required.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems.
• Provide professional, courteous service to patients and clients; communicate procedures clearly and address questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized collection environment and support routine administrative tasks.
