Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Chesapeake, VA territory, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with rotational weekends. This role requires travel to PSCs and client offices to collect specimens and deliver high-quality patient service.

Responsibilities include accurate labeling, data entry, and processing specimens. Candidates must have 2 years of phlebotomy experience and certification in select states, with strong communication and independent work skills.

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• English Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws following established procedures.
• Obtain patient identification and verify specimen labeling; enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, storage).
• Research test/client information and verify written/electronic orders using lab systems.
