Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III Territory (Float) in North Little Rock, AR, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role includes traveling within an assigned territory to collect specimens and provide professional patient service.

Requirements include at least three years of phlebotomy experience and state-specific phlebotomy certification; a strong data-entry skill set and independent work style are essential. Some travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws, with high accuracy and ability to handle difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification, label specimens, and perform data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage.
• Follow test orders using lab systems and confirm documentation.
• Provide professional patient and client service, and maintain a clean collection environment.
• Travel within assigned territory to PSCs and IOPs; cover locations with reliable transportation.
• Operate under compliance policies, protect patient confidentiality, and document activities.
