Job summary

Furry Fellas Pet Service in Rhode Island is seeking Core Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers for the Warwick/Cranston territory. You’ll cover AM and PM shifts with a consistent weekly schedule including three regular days, two extended coverage days, and two days off.

Visits range 15–60 minutes, with mileage paid between client visits. Compensation is per-visit, with potential for higher earnings through tips, certifications, and route density.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior professional animal care experience.
• Reliable vehicle with valid license and auto insurance.
• Smartphone with reliable internet access.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable working independently and managing daily schedule.
• Able to walk dogs outdoors year-round and handle dogs of various sizes.

Responsibilities

• Walking and exercising dogs.
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks.
• Feeding pets and refreshing water.
• Administering medications when applicable.
• Providing cat and small animal care.
• Scooping litter boxes and cleaning pet areas.
• Taking photos and sending a visit summary after each visit.
• Traveling throughout the assigned territory to care for pets in clients' homes.
