Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Merchandiser to support Davidson Specialty Foods by stocking shelves in local grocery stores within the North Shore Boston Metro footprint. The role involves daily store visits, setting up displays, restocking products, and following planograms to optimize shelf space.

Mileage is reimbursed and full-time hours with early starts and some weekends are required. Travel requirements include local trips with reimbursement; the position offers comprehensive

Qualifications

• Basic math skills: additions, subtractions, multiplications, and divisions of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Strong communication skills: speaking clearly and persuasively in various situations.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; understand simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves; maintain order on the floor.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.
