Territory Manager, Vision Care - Stamford, CT

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a high performing Vision Territory Manager (VTM) to partner with both independent and retail affiliated Eye Care Practitioners (ECP) in the designated territory geography to help achieve mutually beneficial objectives by leveraging product solutions that address the needs of the patient and the practice.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Meet/exceed the territory sales quota and key execution metrics established by sales leadership for the given territory.
  • Execute effective sales calls to ECPs within the given territory and move business forward by using marketing materials, programs and selling techniques.
  • Develop account business plans for high volume customers that create sustainable growth trajectories.
  • Responsible for executing an effective call cycle plan and formulating a strategic territory business plan.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of all Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com CRM system to maintain accurate customer information.
  • Work alongside industry distributor partners to fulfill customer needs.
  • Attend National and Regional sales meetings and trade shows as needed.
  • Coordinate ECP educational meetings in key markets.
  • Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis.
  • Adhere to AdvaMed Guidelines.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred or a combination of professional certification (COT and/or OSA) with extensive ophthalmic experience.
  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience and/or other relevant sales experience (eye health industry preferred).
  • Ability to identify and address customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and effectively drive sales growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to manage customer accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This is a remote field-based position that typically requires 50% travel.
  • Must be able to perform all job duties including driving in a large geographical territory and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, or other CRM applications is required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000.
