As a Territory Manager, your relentless focus is owning the spec of Public Safety business in your region that leads to revenue growth and gains in market share The Territory Manager is responsible for accurately managing their spec pipeline through CRM such that the data aligns to results and informs revenue and product forecasts. A constant champion of the brand, and master multi-tasker through a high-level of communication and relationship-building across the organization, dealers and distributor sales reps, and end-users across the marketplace you represent 5.11 to our treasured Professional community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Public Safety first - call on public safety agencies to create a rich pipeline of business through superior technical knowledge of 5.11 products and their applications.
  • Create, qualify, nurture, and convert leads to capture revenue generating, agency product specifications.
  • Responsible for cultivating a comprehensive end-user network of influencers, decision makers, top tier agency operators and procurement specialists.
  • Present 5.11 product in various meeting environments, from training rooms to uniform committees, from procurement to command staff.
  • Be present to our end users and accounts, respectful of their time, with the ability to adapt and build in flex time to make the most of an appointment.
  • Develop, implement, and execute business development strategies and plans to develop new department business; create plans to increase existing department sales and retrieve lost department business.
  • Collaboratively develop business with dealers and key account sales teams within the territory; seek solutions that enhance and drive business with a quantifiable return of investment.
  • Leverage the CRM system daily to build and manage the sales pipeline and opportunity activity to inform revenue and demand guidance, to measure KPI’s and optimize performance.
  • Utilize CRM data to analyze the marketplace, build pipeline business, develop deeper brand penetration, and seek to displace the competition.
  • Actively participate in local grass-roots industry-related events, as well as attend regional and national trade shows with the intent to quantify the events return on investment.
  • Purposefully travel throughout the territory based on the demands of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven Sales experience in outside sales.
  • Public safety account management experience preferred.
  • Have a proven track record of strong leadership and relationship building experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow up skills.
  • Strong knowledge and handling of tactical equipment and gear preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft CE, Power BI or other CRM software.
  • Be available for extensive travel.

Pay Range: $80,000-$110,000 annually plus bonus based on experience
