The Territory Manager promotes and sells dermatopathology services to physicians and other healthcare providers. The candidate must manage their territory to maintain existing referring physician groups and develop new relationships to meet corporate objectives.

As part of the sales team, the manager will collaborate with the Director of Sales and Chief Operating Officer to achieve goals, providing excellent customer service and in-depth knowledge of services to meet customer needs.

The primary responsibilities include:

  1. Market and sell dermatopathology services.
  2. Identify and penetrate large accounts and key decision makers.
  3. Develop and maintain a customer base with creative strategies.
  4. Coordinate with residency programs to build future business pipelines.
  5. Attend trade shows and conventions to promote services.
  6. Create a territory plan with goals and resource allocation.
  7. Proactively seek out potential customers.
  8. Utilize sales force tools effectively.

Location

This position is based in New Orleans, LA, covering Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Experience and Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Prior B2B sales experience; dermatology sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Organized, self-motivated, with strong business acumen to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Proficient in computer and software skills for maintaining sales records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
