Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Territory Manager for Shockwave Medical Inc., located in the Orlando West territory. This position covers Orlando, FL to Lakeland, FL and surrounding areas. It is a field-based position.

Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Join us in pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.

Position Overview

Territory Managers are responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account revenue and customer satisfaction within specified product lines and geography. Responsibilities include driving new business, achieving sales targets, and providing support to physicians to meet patient needs. The Territory Manager covers cases in catheter labs and collaborates with physicians and key decision-makers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Meet with physicians and hospital staff to understand customer needs and case types.
  • Educate customers on products and clinical usage through presentations and demos.
  • Attend procedures in hospital operating rooms to advise on product usage and gather insights.
  • Achieve sales and revenue objectives for the territory.
  • Partner with clinical, marketing, R&D, and other teams to identify opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls with interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and clinical speaking ability.
  • Complete reports including sales summaries, expenses, and account targeting.
  • Maintain ethical standards and comply with all regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ territory management experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred) or 3 years’ cardiovascular/interventional sales support experience.
  • Successful sales record in catheter technology or related vascular devices.
  • Ability to meet sales targets quarterly and annually.
  • Effective time, resource, and budget management within the territory.
  • Must not be debarred by FDA for medical device work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with flexibility.
  • Prolonged sitting and lifting objects up to 25 lbs may be required.
