Territory Manager - MedTech (Los Angeles Valley, CA)

This role requires residing in the Los Angeles Valley area (e.g., Encino, Thousand Oaks, Sherman Oaks) for consideration.

Role Overview: As a Territory Manager at CVRx, you will combine market development expertise with technical support to ensure the success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. This dynamic role involves strategic planning, educational support, and clinical engagement. You should possess professional presentation skills, product knowledge, negotiation, and sales closing skills to meet or exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute strategies to meet patient implant and revenue goals.
  2. Ensure strategy execution within your territory to meet performance metrics.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce and related applications, and train others as needed.
  4. Maintain thorough understanding of physiological and technical principles of CVRx therapies.
  5. Support implant procedures, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to healthcare providers.
  6. Handle technical inquiries and research solutions.
  7. Represent CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and surgeons, ensuring understanding of therapies.
  8. Provide clinical support, education, and training to physicians and hospital staff.
  9. Contribute to R&D through customer feedback.
  10. Follow sales processes, maintain accurate Salesforce records, and report on performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, engineering, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10+ years in medical device sales or related experience.
  • Experience with cardiology or related therapeutic devices.
  • Existing relationships within cardiology and cardiovascular specialties in Los Angeles Valley.
  • Knowledge of medical and surgical concepts, and ability to execute sales strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to forecast and meet goals.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and relationship-oriented.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, with reliable transportation and valid ID for travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience leading sales teams.
  • Proven success within CVRx’s organizational roles.
  • Ability to liaise with R&D for product feedback.
Working Conditions & Benefits:
