Job summary

Fabick Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer, seeks a Territory Manager in Madison, WI to manage customer relationships, drive equipment sales, and develop business opportunities within the region.

The role requires strong communication, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5 years of equipment sales experience; you will present products and terms and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related business field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in equipment sales.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and other business software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Recommend products to customers based on needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Identify prospective customers by using directories, following leads, attending trade shows and conferences.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports and filing expense accounts.
• Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:
