Territory Manager II - Commercial Fire Alarm Systems (Finance)

The Territory Manager will develop and implement sales strategies to grow the assigned territory or region. They will develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers and manage sales processes. The role involves achieving sales targets from existing or new accounts aligned with business initiatives.

As a key team member, you will drive sales growth of Honeywell Commercial Fire control products through a network of Honeywell distributors, working directly with contractor customers, consulting engineers, and end users. You will develop new business relationships and generate sales of comprehensive solutions, offering our extensive line of fire control and notification products. Maintaining and reporting on opportunity status using our customer relationship management system is also part of the role. Specifically, you will focus on the brands Fire Lite, Silent Knight, and Farenhyt.

We seek a dynamic sales professional to work remotely within the territory, which includes Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and West Virginia. Candidates should ideally reside centrally within this area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer's business and identify how Honeywell can add value through technology and solutions.
  • Penetrate new markets or accounts, identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiated solutions, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Identify opportunities to replace competitive solutions with Honeywell solutions, qualify, and close these opportunities.
  • Leverage internal Honeywell resources to maximize success.
  • Represent Honeywell professionally and ethically, reflecting well on the company and its core values.
  • Engage at multiple levels within target customer organizations.
  • Coordinate efforts to produce compelling value propositions and proposals that win orders and meet or exceed targets.
  • Follow the Sales Operating System (SOS), emphasizing disciplined CRM usage, accurate forecasting, pipeline reviews, and planning.
  • Execute the annual sales plan for the territory, utilizing all available resources for maximum growth.
  • Train contractors and distributors on product value and programs.
  • Build strategic relationships to deliver value.
  • Enhance knowledge of Honeywell products in a team-oriented, innovative, customer-focused culture.
  • Travel up to 60% as required.
