WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:

This is a remote, field-based position. The ideal candidate should reside in Austin, Texas with regular coverage of Waco and surrounding areas.

Travel: This role will require car and air travel up to 80% of time.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • BS/BA from a four-year college or university plus 3 years of related industry sales experience; preferably in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, and managed care. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to travel at least 80% in your assigned territory; must maintain a valid driver's license and required auto insurance as well as good driving record, per company policy.
  • Motivation and drive to meet and even exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources and health care professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to company protocols and requirements.
  • Ability to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
  • Skilled at promoting team cooperation and commitment to team success.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing market and see change as an opportunity to improve business performance and will campaign for it when necessary.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The base pay for this position is $89,200.00 - $109,000.00 annually, with a target earning potential of $164,200.00 - $184,000.00 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes a robust benefits package.

Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision available your first day, as well as health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (with accrual starting on day 1) and you will have access to a 401k plan with company match as well as an Employee Stock Purchase plan. YOU SHOULD KNOW:

This review is required to ensure that individuals in such roles uphold high standards of trust and integrity so as to protect the interests of our customers, employees, and stakeholders.
