A Day in the Life

We have an exciting role for an experienced Territory Manager based in Melbourne. In this role, you will provide clinical case support, grow market share, and execute business plans.

Aortic Peripheral Vascular Health (APVH) is one of Medtronic's fastest-growing businesses, offering therapies for conditions like Peripheral and Carotid Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, and Venous Diseases. We lead in Superficial Venous and Drug Coated Balloon markets, serving hundreds of millions globally with lifesaving therapies. Our aortic therapies include stents for aneurysm treatment and adjunctive technology for endovascular seal and fixation.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will achieve sales revenue targets, manage accounts, and oversee territory organization, technical support, inventory, and expenses.

The Victoria-based team values collaboration, and we seek someone with a team-first mentality to continue our strong culture.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and market share targets by promoting Vascular Health products and clinical services to vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists.
  • Understand customer needs and provide high-level clinical service and technical support.
  • Manage territory inventory, case support schedules, administration, and expenses effectively.
  • Train medical staff on procedures, product preparation, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with other Territory Managers in Victoria and the broader ANZ team.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews for your territory and contribute to state QBRs.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in nursing, science, business, or related fields.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of clinical sales experience in healthcare; vascular theatre or ICU catheter lab experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of account planning, territory management, and forecasting.
  • Understanding hospital lab/theatre operations and purchasing processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.
