Mutual Capital Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to lead agency relationships across Western Pennsylvania, from the State College area westward.

The role focuses on managing agents, executing territory marketing, and ensuring strong customer coverage with effective underwriting support. Ideal candidates have a college degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of P&C sales, and the ability to travel 60–70% with some overnight stays.

• 3+ years of P&C sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel 60%-70% of the work week, with some overnight stays possible.
• Commercial lines underwriting experience, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Agency management of assigned territory (recruiting, training, and supervising agents or sales representatives) including agency relationship and portfolio management and collaboration with the commercial, personal, and renewal underwriters.
• Develop, manage, and execute the territory marketing plan.
• Travel to assigned agents and/or as needed.
• Business planning and budgeting.
• Meeting growth, profit, new business and loss objectives.
• Line underwriting - Knowledge of commercial, personal and agricultural underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support, assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to.
• Meeting producer and policyholder service standards.

Territory Manager

Salary Range: $77,000.00 To $111,000.00 Annually

This position may be filled at either anentry or skilled level, commensurate with experience.

Territory: Western Pennsylvania, extending from the State College area westward to the western Pennsylvania border. The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned territory to support strong customer relationships and efficient territory coverage.

What You'll Do
