Job Description

As a Territory Manager for our Fiberon decking brand, you will work with customers of all sizes to achieve sales goals by maintaining and growing relationships with Distributors, Dealers, and Contractors. With support from the inside sales and marketing team, you will implement promotions, programs, and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in decking or building materials, a proven track record of successful pull-through sales with distributors, contractors, and builders, be highly autonomous, and be available to travel overnight up to 8-10 times a month.

This remote position is based in Portland, OR. The territory covers Northern Oregon, north of Bend, including Vancouver, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales, margin, and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Improve KPIs such as Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, and Product Positions.
  • Acquire and retain key dealers and users.
  • Optimize local distribution to grow market share.
  • Develop an annual business plan with the Regional Manager to exceed financial budgets.
  • Conduct semi-annual joint business planning meetings with the RM and local distributors.
  • Utilize CRM and the company’s sales process effectively and consistently.
  • Deliver effective presentations via F2F and Go To Meeting (GTM) to groups of all sizes.
  • Gather and report competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to sales and marketing management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics, and ensure team compliance.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Residency within the core geography
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Enjoys public speaking and product demonstrations to groups

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Building industry experience
  • Professional sales training or certification
  • CRM experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
Additional Information

The estimated base salary range is $98,000 - $113,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors like experience, education, and location. Employees are also eligible for annual bonuses or sales incentives.
