You will underwrite accounts within authority, monitor portfolio performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth while meeting budgeted objectives. This role reports to the Underwriting Manager, Commercial Bond, and requires leadership and clear communication across partners.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, insurance, or a related field preferred.
• Actively pursuing AFSB, CPCU, or related certification desirable.
• Moderate experience in commercial or contract surety underwriting desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage broad territory with focus on relationship, underwriting and expense control.
• Underwrite accounts within granted authority and appetite.
• Monitor market conditions and analyze portfolio performance to drive profitable growth.
• Collaborate with PRCB, Specialty and P&C to pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet top and bottom line goals.
• Communicate strategic direction and policies to external partners.
