You’ll have the flexibility to manage your schedule and work independently. If you enjoy traveling, this role offers the chance to explore different neighborhoods, cities, and regions within your designated territory.

Position Overview

The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students who want to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role involves working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of UTI and its programs. The Representative will work within a territory of approximately 120 miles radius.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused, extroverted style that can engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. Enjoy making connections and communicating with people, proactively establishing relationships, and following established guidelines and procedures. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing your schedule effectively is essential.

This is a remote position, but candidates must currently reside and be able to travel throughout Missouri.

Responsibilities
  • Building Relationships: Develop and strengthen partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and communities.
  • Events: Conduct in-person presentations at high schools and represent UTI at offsite events.
  • Consultative Mindset: Conduct informative interviews, maintain CRM database for follow-up.
  • Public Speaking: Present to educators at high schools and educational institutions to promote UTI.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of UTI programs, financing, and answer prospective student questions.
  • Metrics: Achieve enrollment goals through outreach and recruitment.
  • Compliance: Follow all regulatory and company procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with public speaking, industry knowledge, or outside sales (3-5 years) preferred.
  • Must pass background check, including MVR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze and report data.
  • Effective relationship-building, self-motivated, organized, able to work independently and manage territory.
