We are seeking a Territory Business Manager eager to grow with us. This role is open to remote candidates in the greater West Texas area, including Fort Worth, Abilene, Waco, Lubbock, Midland Odessa, and El Paso.

Position Summary

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) reports to the Regional Director and manages all accounts within their territory. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders across pathology, oncology, academic centers, reference labs, and private physician groups, selling our full portfolio, expanding market share, and maintaining current business. The TBM facilitates collaboration with specialist teams and operates within a designated budget.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales goals by managing customer relationships and needs.
  2. Serve as the primary contact for Tier A, B, C accounts.
  3. Collaborate with Key Account Managers to support Tier A accounts.
  4. Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts.
  5. Work with Oncology Sales Specialists and Client Success Specialists to maximize account value.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  7. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  8. Coordinate with marketing and product teams for growth strategies.
  9. Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
  10. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication.
  11. Promote company products through consultative sales within the territory.
  12. Maintain territory coverage plans and provide routine service to key accounts.
  13. Conduct product training and gather market feedback.
  14. Track all activities in Salesforce.com for visibility and reporting.
  15. Develop annual business plans, prioritize activities, and manage time effectively.
  16. Build relationships at all organizational levels within accounts.
  17. Achieve sales targets, overcome obstacles, and maintain high work ethics.
  18. Participate in sales meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
  19. Complete administrative duties such as expense reporting accurately and timely.
  20. Adhere to all policies, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in clinical or laboratory markets preferred.
  • Strong closing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical/laboratory products and markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays.
