Job description

Xcede are currently partnered with an exciting Series A funded CNAPP security vendor, founded in Israel and backed by leading VCs. Over the last 12 months, they have seen increasing success across the Americas.

Following their growing demand within the US, we are seeking a Territory Account Executive, ideally based in Chicago, to cover the North Central region.

Responsibilities:
As the Territory Account Executive, you will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities across the North Central region within Mid-Market and enterprise accounts.

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, aiming to win new business and develop revenue streams.
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed quotas.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration within teams.
  • Work with clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership landscape.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a cybersecurity startup with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.

  • At least 5+ years of B2B SaaS experience in application security or cybersecurity.
  • Prior experience as a BDR is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to establish credibility with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, empathetic, and high energy.
  • BA/BS degree preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
