Job summary

Big Bear Mountain Resort's Bear Mountain location is seeking a Terrain Park Supervisor to oversee the construction, maintenance and repair of terrain park features, and to lead planning and safety across projects. The role is located at Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake, California, with starting wages between $33.48/hr and $40.18/hr, depending on experience.

You will coordinate with other departments and manage administrative functions while fostering a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

  • At least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Able to ski or snowboard safely while carrying objects up to 50lbs.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate with others in management.
  • Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and repair of terrain park features while managing assigned administrative functions. Works closely with other departments and leadership to ensure that maintenance and projects are completed safely and deadlines are met. Provides leadership in planning, and resource allocation, while fostering a culture of safety.

This position is located at Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake.

Starting wage between $33.48/hr. - $40.18/hr. depending on experience.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • At least eighteen (18) years old
  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to prioritize and work with limited supervision
  • Able to exhibit sound judgement and maintain a positive attitude
  • Able to ski or snowboard safely while carrying objects up to 50lbs (Ex. rakes, shovels, signs)
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate with others in management
  • Able to work during adverse weather conditions and on challenging terrain with a variety of equipment used to build features
  • Must have completed Pro Academy
  • Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
