Position Summary

Installing and maintaining features in designated terrain park areas. General terrain park features maintenance includes shaping of features, maintaining surrounding areas of features, fixing sliding surfaces, fixing sides skirting on features, snow removal from features, and work areas. Installation of park signage and fencing, maintaining signage and fencing, keeping work areas clean and organized, and power tool experience. Applicants must be willing to work outside for extended periods of time in various weather conditions. An ideal candidate must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. Applicants must be able to snowboard or ski and be willing to test features at an appropriate skill level. Applicants must be able to lift 75lbs individually. Any uniforms or equipment issued must be returned at the end of employment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties
General Responsibilities
  • Feature maintenance, including shaping rail takeoffs, maintenance of the surrounding areas of features, replacing top sheets for boxes, replacing side skirting on features, grinding burs off metal features, snow removal from parks and work areas, inspections of features daily, event set up and break down, signage/fencing install and maintenance. Must be able to lift 75lbs. Must be proficient in snowboarding or skiing. Must have own skis/board/boots.
  • Ability to operate surface lift, ensuring safe loading and unloading of passengers.
  • Ability to scan park passes, RFID cards, ensuring that all participants are eligible for park access.
  • Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks of parks and any associated lifts.
  • Complete required park and lift logs documenting features, work, safety checks, and other information.
  • Report injuries to ski patrol and assist as needed.
  • Complete post-incident reporting of injuries and feature closure/opening.
  • Keep all work areas, including the area of assigned terrain, clean and free of trash and debris.
  • Provide excellent customer service by creating a fun/innovative park and assisting guests when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull stand. Individually lift 75lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor, all-season environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive in adverse road conditions.
