Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a Terrain Park Attendant to maintain park features and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Duties include raking, testing features, and installing safety materials while upholding all safety policies.

The ideal candidate is 16+, physically capable of lifting 75 lbs, with ski/snowboard experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ski and snowboard experience required.
• Able to work in various weather conditions (cold temps, active weather).
• Able to use hand tools and lift at least 75 lbs.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Terrain Park features including raking, shoveling, and shaping.
• Test newly built features prior to guest use.
• Install, maintain, and monitor safety materials including signage, boundaries, entrances & exits.
• Uphold safety and general maintenance of the Terrain Park; identify and report hazards.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
