Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Terrain Park Attendant for the seasonal period. Compensation is $15.00 per hour, with start at the end of November and December, and shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Housing is available; perks include medical benefits, free skiing and snowboarding privileges, 401k, and various discounts. Applicants should be expert skiers/snowboarders with knowledge of terrain park operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be an expert skier/snowboarder and able to ride terrain park.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the designs and shape of Terrain Park features in coordination with the Terrain Park Manager.
• Educate guests on proper usage and etiquette and gather feedback on their park experience.
• Maintain safety of Terrain Park features by shoveling, salting, and controlling access as needed.
• Complete the Terrain Park Log in a professional manner.
• Test features throughout the day for proper construction and document maintenance.
• Maintain the park grounds and facilities to keep them neat and clean.
• Set up and take down fencing, judging areas and banners for contests.
• Act as a judge or course official and record results as assigned.
• Support events team during races and events as needed.
• Have a valid Driver’s license and be able to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program.
