Job summary

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe in Reno, NV seeks a dedicated Terrain Park Attendant to help maintain safe park features and grounds. You will rake, shovel, inspect, and ensure clear signage while prioritizing guest safety and efficient operations.

The role requires knowledge of terrain park features, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask under pressure. You'll work with grooming/snowmaking and ski patrol staff and assist with snow removal as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe approaches and landings for terrain park features through raking and shoveling.
• Identify issues or damage to Terrain Park features.
• Maintain Terrain Park lines and signage.
• Test terrain park features.
• Complete Terrain Park Inspection Logs daily.
• Coordinate with other departments as necessary.
• Provide information to resort guests.
• Other duties that contribute to operation efficiency (e.g., snow removal such as shoveling stairs).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintaining safe approaches and landings for terrain park features through raking and shoveling activities.
• Responsible for properly identifying issues or damage that may have occurred to Terrain Park features.
• Responsible for maintaining Terrain Park lines and signage.
• Responsible for testing terrain park features
• Responsible for completing Terrain Park Inspection Logs every single day.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary in the completion of the above essential duties.
• Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
• Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
• Assisting with snow removal operations with other departments. (e.g. shoveling stairs)
