Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Terrain Park Attendant to help build, maintain and test terrain park features during operating hours. You will work with Grooming, Mountain Operations, and Ski Patrol to ensure safety and quality, and educate guests on park etiquette.

This full-time seasonal hourly role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, endure all weather, and adapt to flexible evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Terrain park operations or construction experience preferred.
• Freestyle skiing/snowboarding experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Identify and solve problems as they arise.
• Work outdoors in all weather incl. storms.
• Must wear proper clothing and PPE as required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, installation, and shaping of terrain park features.
• Repair and maintain features throughout the operating day to ensure safety.
• Conduct feature testing by skiing or snowboarding park features.
• Perform daily inspections of features, signage, and fencing.
• Collaborate with Grooming, Mountain Operations, and Ski Patrol for safe conditions.
• Educate guests on terrain park etiquette and Smart Style principles.
• Stay informed about uphill travel policies and events.
• Follow supervisor directives to complete tasks efficiently.
