Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort in Sundance, WY is seeking a Terrain Park Attendant Level I to monitor and maintain terrain features, promote safety and guest relations, and uphold freestyle terrain etiquette.

You will install signage, log daily activity, and open/close the park, inspecting features and communicating with ski patrol via radio. The role requires weekend/holiday availability and physical fitness for up to 50 lbs lifting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Personal skiing or snowboarding skills level 8 or better.
• Able to use 2-way radios to communicate emergencies and updates from ski patrol.
• Basic knowledge of how to ride small terrain park features and understand park flow.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain terrain park signage, closures, fencing, and banner tape.
• Fill out daily terrain park logs.
• Open and close terrain park daily and manage entrance gates.
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of terrain park features and equipment.
• Rebuild ramps of each feature upon park closure.
• Test and inspect features to ensure safety and quality.
• Mitigate risk by grooming ramps and de-burring features.
• Communicate with ski patrol via radio during incidents and restrict access as needed.
• Interact professionally with guests and maintain park aesthetics.
• Pick up trash and ensure cleanliness within terrain park boundaries.
